OptinMonster makes it easy to show campaigns on specific devices. You can create campaigns to target just mobile or non-mobile visitors and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this article, you’ll learn how to show campaigns on desktop and mobile devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before you start<\/em><\/strong>, this feature is available with a Plus and higher subscription<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

By default<\/strong><\/em> any campaign that is not mobile-only optimized<\/a> will show on all devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can create Mobile-only optimized campaigns<\/a> <\/strong><\/em>with a Pro or higher subscription<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are editing a mobile-only optimized campaign there will be no option to add a Device Targeting Display Rule. This is because mobile-only optimized campaigns are designed to show only on mobile phones.

Configure Device Targeting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can use the device targeting rule in the Display Rules to show or hide your campaign on specific devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To target your campaign to specific devices, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. In the campaign builder, navigate to the Display Rules<\/strong> view.

  2. Next, add or modify an existing rule, by searching for Visitor’s Device<\/strong>.

  3. Finally, configure the rule by selecting is<\/strong> or is not<\/strong> and then selecting the device(s). You can select more than one device option if desired.

  4. When you’re finished, Save<\/strong> the campaign.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    How do I target just mobile phones but not tablets?<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

    The Mobile<\/strong> option targets mobile phones only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Will my MonsterLink work on all devices?<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

    Yes, MonsterLinks<\/a> will always work and are the one exception to the device rule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Why don’t I have the Device Targeting options in the Display Rules?<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

    If your campaign is a Mobile-only campaign<\/a>, no device targeting options will appear in the Display Rules. This is because Mobile-only campaigns will show on mobile phones by default with no option to change the device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
