Then, they created targeted campaigns to reach those customers.<\/p>\n Here is the popup window targeted to display only to visitors from France:<\/p>\n Shipping can be a big sticking point for eCommerce buyers.<\/p>\n By addressing the issue directly, the skating brand\u00a0added \u00a32000 in revenue per day<\/a>\u00a0during the holiday season and even saw bounce rates decrease after adding these optins.<\/p>\n America\u2019s Professor<\/a>\u00a0sells insurance license classes to help guide people through the complicated process of obtaining a license.<\/p>\n America\u2019s Professor is a national company. Here\u2019s what I wrote in place of the default copy:<\/p>\n Next, click on the template\u2019s background to bring up the editor tools on the left-hand panel:<\/p>\n Here, you can change the popup\u2019s background color, add an image, or decide to take the close icon off the template to turn it into a\u00a0modal popup<\/a>:<\/p>\n Once you\u2019re happy with the popup\u2019s appearance, we can proceed to the next step.<\/p>\n Go to the\u00a0Display Rules<\/strong>\u00a0tab at the top of your screen:<\/p>\n By default, your campaign will have 2 display rules set:<\/p>\n You\u2019ll need to change the 1st rule based on the user\u2019s physical location.<\/p>\n To do so, click on the 1st display rule (time on page) and click on\u00a0Who<\/strong>. Click on the\u00a0Physical Location<\/strong>\u00a0option from the menu:<\/p>\n You can set your display rule to target visitors whose location is (or is not) a particular location. You also have the option to include or exclude visitors from the European Union:<\/p>\n I\u2019m going to set the rule to the visitor’s location as West Palm Beach, FL. Next, click on the\u00a0Validate<\/strong>\u00a0button:<\/p>\n After you click\u00a0Validate<\/strong>, an overlay will appear with a listing of the locations matching the location you entered. Click on the \u2018+\u2019 icon to confirm the location you want:<\/p>\n Display Rules are great tools to make your popups targeted and engaging. Since it\u2019s a work-in-progress campaign, you\u2019ll notice the\u00a0Publish<\/strong> tab\u2019s icon is in pause mode by default:<\/p>\n Select an existing website or add a new one under the\u00a0Websites<\/strong> section:<\/p>\n If you haven\u2019t added any sites to OptinMonster yet, learn more about\u00a0how to connect your website<\/a>.<\/p>\n If you already have a website, you can use the\u00a0Preview<\/strong> functionality to test how the notification bar will appear on your website before you publish it:<\/p>\n Next, click on the Publish<\/strong>\u00a0tab under the\u00a0Publish Status<\/strong> section:<\/p>\n You\u2019ll see that the icon in the main\u00a0Publish<\/strong> tab at the top will change from the pause symbol to a green checkmark:<\/p>\n Finally, click on the\u00a0Save<\/strong>\u00a0button to make sure you don\u2019t lose any changes you\u2019ve made so far to the campaign:<\/p>\n And that\u2019s it.
