OptinMonster’s folders feature is a powerful tool to help you organize and target campaigns with Display Rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this article, you’ll learn how to use OptinMonster’s folders feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create a Folder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When you have several campaigns in your account, you can use folders to help organize them. You may find it helpful to group campaigns that offer the same promotion, by season\/holiday, or another common theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To create a folder, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. From the OptinMonster Dashboard, under Folders<\/strong> in the left sidebar select + Create a new folder<\/strong>.

  2. A popup will appear, enter the name of your new folder and select the Create Folder<\/strong> button.

  3. Your new folder will now appear in the left sidebar of the Dashboard.

    Add Campaign to Folder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    To add a campaign to a folder, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. From the OptinMonster Dashboard, select the campaign you want to add to a folder and then click on the Add to Folder<\/strong> icon in the right preview pane for that campaign.
      \"Add<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. A popup will appear, select the folder you want to add the campaign to from the dropdown. If the folder doesn’t exist yet you can also create a new folder during this process.

    3. Once you’ve selected the folder(s) you want to add the campaign to select the Save<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Duplicate to Folder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Duplicating all campaigns within an existing folder into a new folder can be done quickly and hassle free! This process is particularly useful when you need to reproduce holiday campaigns annually and maintain organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Follow the below steps to duplicate campaigns with a folder into a new folder: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. From the Campaigns screen<\/a>, select the folder you wish to duplicate the campaigns within.

      2. Click the top checkbox to select all campaigns within the folder.
        \"\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Click Duplicate to Folder<\/strong> option at the bottom of the screen.
        \"\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Click create a new folder<\/strong>.
        \"\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. Enter desired folder name into text field and click the Create Folder<\/strong> button.

      6. You will be automatically routed to the new folder and all of your campaigns will be duplicated within the folder. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Target Campaign by Folder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        You can use folders to control how campaigns are shown or hidden from visitors on your website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Similar to our MonsterChains feature, you can now show or hide a campaign if the visitor has seen, closed, or converted any campaign in a specific folder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        To target a campaign using folders, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Navigate to the Display Rules<\/strong> view in the campaign builder.

        2. Next, when adding or editing a rule select OnSite Retargeting<\/strong> from the left-hand list and select from one of the following conditions:
