But there were a few things they weren\u2019t satisfied with, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Missing reporting features<\/li>\n<li>Glitchy editing forms<\/li>\n<li>Unreliable popups<\/li>\n<li>And more&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the time, they were getting between 30-60 email signups per day. But since the site is mainly monetized through affiliate marketing, traffic isn\u2019t enough. He has a fullscreen campaign that offers a free gift to users. A few factors that play into Mark\u2019s success include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Consistent A\/B testing<\/li>\n<li>Creating two versions of campaigns: one for desktop and one for mobile<\/li>\n<li>Knowing what his target audience wants (discounts on their favorite photography gear)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And, of course, OptinMonster\u2019s powerful features along with its easy-to-use builder. In fact, here is Mark\u2019s experience from editing campaigns in OptinMonster:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI\u2019m not a designer, but I \u2018design\u2019 all the OM templates because it\u2019s the quickest way of implementing changes. Also, the base templates provide a good starting point to make minor edits. Side note: our \u2018ugliest\u2019 optin is currently performing the best! (it doesn\u2019t include any images or pretty graphics\u2026)\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In just a few months, Shotkit has created dozens of optin campaigns of all kinds (popups, floating bars, fullscreen welcome mats, and so on), bringing him tons of new leads every day.<\/p>\n<p>By our last estimate, <strong>Shotkit had 32 campaigns with conversion rates of 5% or higher<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Results<\/h3>\n<p>As a result of using OptinMonster, Mark reported the following results:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Faster site speeds<\/li>\n<li>40+ new leads signing up every day<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Neither result should be surprising.
